Final Fantasy XVI producer is advising fans not to worry about any PC port of the game and just get PlayStation’s latest console line instead.
A while back when Final Fantasy XVI was revealed to the world, fans were quick to speculate that the next entry to the Final Fantasy series would be coming to PC at a later time. Their proof was the launch of the PC port of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. If it happened to this highly-anticipated game, then it could happen to the sequel, right? It seems that is not happening at all.
According to a new statement that got translated by Twitter user Genki_JPN, Yoshi-P quickly denied that there is going to be a PC version of the game. “Why is it like a PC version is releasing 6 months later?” he asked.
His good advice? Yoshi-P said, “Don’t worry about that, buy a PS5.” Instead of not getting sleep about it, it would be better to just get the next-gen PlayStation in order to play FFXVI. Simple.
Do you think a PC version will be released later on after day one?
Final Fantasy XVI launches on June 22, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
