The announcement for the supposedly Forspoken Demo seems to have leaked ahead of its schedule.
The Japanese PlayStation Twitter account has recently posted a new announcement revealing that the Forspoken Demo is real and it would be coming soon. Unfortunately for the handler of the account, it seemed they have mistakenly posted it ahead of time. The post is long gone now, but the internet remembers. It ALWAYS remembers.
The big reveal of the playable demo was supposed to be this coming The Game Awards 2022, which is happening in a few hours.
The official Twitter account of PlayStation did announce a while back that a new gameplay showcase will be shown on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10 AM PT. It will be 11 minutes long and might also confirm the playable demo. It also has the same image attached to the recently deleted Japanese post.
Forspoken has been delayed twice now. It was supposed to launch first in May 2022 then got delayed to October 2022 and now, hopefully, to January 24, 2023. Since there will be new gameplay and a supposedly new playable demo, the third date could be the final release date.
Forspoken launches on January 24, 2023 on PC and PS5.
