How to Get 100 Overshield in Fortnite

Fortnite - Overshield How to Get 100

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 definitely made some noise with the removal of the ever-popular building mechanics when it started. The players are warped into a place where they are forced to engage in combat without the means of building walls for defense, but that’s remedied by the new Fortnite Tactical Sprint, which makes players run faster when they sprint.

In addition to giving veteran Fortnite players a fair chance against sharpshooters, the implementation of Overshield came into action. At every start of the match, players are given 50 extra shields that regenerate after a certain amount of time without getting damaged.

When players max out both health and shield in Fornite, with the addition of Overshield, that’s 250 health combined. While Overshield can regenerate, both the standard shield and health still can’t; players will still need to use medkits and shield consumables.

The question now comes, is Fortnite 100 Overshield possible this Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2? Here are all the details of getting 100 Overshield in Fortnite.

Fortnite – How to Get 100 Overshield

Players can’t get 100 Overshield in Fortnite. The Overshield’s max capacity is only 50, and the only way to recover lost Overshield is by simply waiting for it to regenerate over time when you’re not taking any damage.

Epic didn’t yet announce that Overshield is the permanent replacement of the building mechanic. There are only speculations that Epic is testing this new direction in Fortnite to encourage other players to play the game, and if ever this proves to be a huge success then there’s a chance that Fortnite will get two modes, with one allowing building mechanics while the other does not.
