May the 4th is upon us once more, and of course Fortnite Star Wars’ May the 4th is participating in this yearly event by opening up limited-time Star Wars themed quests that players can do to earn lots of XP, and a nifty new Empire Banner icon.
In this guide, we will talk about the Star Wars May the 4th Quests and how to easily complete them, and how to get the Empire Banner Icon.
How long will the Star Wars May the 4th quests last?
The Star Wars May the 4th quests will last for two weeks, starting from May 3 until May 17, 2022.
How to Complete the Star Wars May the 4th quests
As soon as you log into the game, you’ll be prompted that the May the 4th quests are available for you to complete. Simply check on your quests log to learn the objectives and jump into a game to start. There are six quests for this event and, depending on how good you are or how lucky you get with the storm circle, you can possibly complete them all in a single match.
Here’s how to complete all six May the 4th quests:
Land at a Stormtrooper Checkpoint, then place top 25
All you need to do is to land on one of them and try to survive for at least until you place at top 25 or up. This can either be an easy or a difficult quest to pull off depending on how lucky and careful you are. There are only three Stormtrooper Checkpoints present on the island: near Shifty Shafts, north of Greasy Grove, and in The Joneses. Expect that most of the players in your lobby will be landing on these checkpoints, so exercise caution.
While in the checkpoint, you might want to pick up a bounty from a Stormtrooper, or farm around for a bit and purchase an E-11 Blaster Rifle from them for the next quests.
Complete a bounty from a Stormtrooper
Talk to a Stormtrooper and he will give you a bounty quest to track and eliminate a player in the area. Then, you need to locate where the player is with the help of the minimap. The general location of the player will be shows as a yellow circle that slowly shrinks as you get closer to your target. Once you eliminate your target, you will complete the bounty and the quest.
Alternatively, your bounty target can be poached from you, but this will still count as a completed bounty, so you will still complete the quest.
Block hits using a Lightsaber
Lightsabers can be picked up as ground loot (golden glow) or as a chest loot. Once you get one, simply find an enemy and have them shoot at you while you hold your block control. You can do this by using the RMB for PC, L2 for PlayStation, LT for Xbox, and ZL for the Switch.
You need to block at least 10 shots from an enemy and you have to line up with their shot while facing them (while they are aiming at you properly) to count it as a block. Be careful as your block will break after a few hits.
Damage opponents within 30 meters using the E-11 Blaster Rifle
E-11 Blaster Rifles can be purchased from Stormtroopers for 100 gold, or they can be obtained as a loot via chests. You can also eliminate a Stormtrooper to get this gun. To complete this quest, simply deal a total of 1000 damage using the E-11 Blaster Rifle to enemies that are within 30 meters; this includes players and AI enemies.
Drive a vehicle from Chonker’s Speedway or Logjam Lumberyard to a Stormtrooper Checkpoint
Simply go to Chonker’s Speedway or Logjam Lumberyard, get a vehicle and drive towards the nearest Stormtrooper Location. For Chonker’s Speedway, drive towards the checkpoint at The Joneses to the northeast. For Logjam Lumberyard, drive towards the east to reach the checkpoint.
Depending on where the storm circle appears on the map and how fast you navigate, you can still drop at a checkpoint, run towards the two locations mentioned and drive back to the checkpoint to complete this quest and the Land at a Stormtrooper Checkpoint quest.
Survive Storm Phases while carrying a Lightsaber
To complete this quest, you simply need to have a Lightsaber in your inventory and wait for 5 storm phases to pass. This can be done all at once during a single match, or completed through several matches.
How to Get the Empire Banner Icon
In order to get the exclusive Empire Banner icon, you only need to complete five (5) of any of the six May the 4th quests.
