In a surprising move, GameStop will be selling copies of Doom Eternal a day earlier than anticipated. Concerns about the coronavirus has coerced GameStop management to sell the game a day early due to the fact that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is set launch the same day. This would allow them to them to separate the crowd as both games are expected to sell heavily.
GameStop may also only allow a limited number of customers to be inside the store to 10 during any given moment. This is in an effort to maintain social distance to lessen risk of contracting the virus.
For those excited to get Doom Eternal a day early, keep in mind that there is a day one update for the game. Nothing too massive. But thought you may want to be informed.
