Dragonspiral Descent is continuing the story of the Season of Heritage in Pokémon GO where you discovered a massive door with an unusual set of unlocking mechanisms while exploring the caves. Despite our best guesses, we still don’t know what lies beyond the locked door. What a great opportunity, don’t you think?
Let’s take a look at a relic from the past while we reflect on our own roots! As we work to solve these puzzles together, we have a feeling we’ll learn a lot more about this particular location in the coming months. Is there anything that we can take away from the past that will help us in the present or the future?
When is the Dragonspiral Descent Event in Pokémon GO?
The Dragonspiral Descent Event in Pokémon GO starts on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
The first part of the mysterious door’s mechanism is activated after collecting enough Stardust and the right Pokémon.
Druddigon, a previously unseen Pokémon in Pokémon GO, springs to life as a result of the minor quaking in the cave. Many of the Pokémon have appeared, and Professor Willow quickly sets to work conducting some research, realizing that many of them can be found in Unova’s Dragonspiral Tower.
Dragonspiral Descent
The Season of Heritage Story Continues. At the historic cave site, a piece of a mysterious door was activated.
Season of Heritage event Dragonspiral Descent is the most recent addition to the Pokémon GO game. Increased spawns of Fire, Electric, and Ice-type Pokémon will be available during the event, as well as the introduction of Druddigon, a fearsome Dragon-type Pokémon with a lot of power.
It’s possible that Druddigon, an all-new Pokémon in Pokemon GO, appeared because of an earthquake caused by the door’s locking mechanism moving. The Cave Pokémon Druddigon is said to live in the Dragonspiral Tower in Unova.
Professor Willow has discovered that many of the new Pokémon are also known to call Dragonspiral Tower home. Professor Willow also believes that the unprecedented surge in appearances of Fire, Electric, and Ice-type Pokémon may be linked to Unova’s Dragon-type Legendary Pokémon: Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem.
Pokémon Debut – Druddigon
Druddigon debuts in Pokémon GO! If you’re lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny one.
How to catch Druddigon in Pokémon Go
In order to catch a Druddigon, you’ll have two options. Finding a three-star raid is the easiest and quickest way to get a Druddigon. Because it is a three-star encounter, Druddigon can appear in these raids, and most players should be able to take care of it on their own.
You may need a friend’s help if your level is low or if you lack the best Pokémon to counter it, such as Dragon, Ice, or Fairy-type creatures.
The second way is to conduct field esearch in the area. It is possible to encounter a Druddigon during the Dragonspiral Descent event, but only if you complete all three tasks.
Due to the rarity of receiving a Druddigon meeting from a Field Research task, you’re better off concentrating on the three-star raids.
What are Shiny Pokémon?
Shiny Pokémon are rare variants of Pokémon. Unlike other Pokémon of the same species, Shiny Pokémon have a different color. A Shiny Pokémon may appear in the wild at random, particularly during special events like the Dragonspiral Descent.

What is a Druddigon? Is Druddigon a good Pokémon?

Positives
+ Attack stat at 120
+ 78/90/90 bulk means it is capable of surviving a lot of hits
+ It has a decent physical attack damage
+ It has top-notch ability choices
Negatives
– It’s very slow
– Skills are common and can be done better by other Dragon-type Pokémon
– Weak to Fairy-types
Is Druddigon a legendary?
Druddigons are not legendary Pokémons. However, it is of Uncommon rarity.
How to Counter Druddigon
How to defeat Druddigon? Avoid physical contact. But, like most physical Attackers, Burn will severely hinder it.
The next option is to move quickly. Because Druddigon is slow, a faster Dragon-type is likely to beat it. For example, an unboosted Draco Meteor from a Garchomp can take down Druddigon.
Alternately, be a fairy. Most Druddigon don’t have strong anti-Fairy moves, so a quick Moonblast will do the trick.
