According to a media outlet that reported some figures that Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed, popular video game Ghost of Tsushima has sold over 5 million copies since its release.
The new detail was revealed in a New York Times profile, which also showed other titles like God of War and more. GoT sold over 5 million in just four months since it launched on PlayStation 4. This also meant that it averaged by about 1 million per month since release. For a new title from game studio Sucker Punch, the sales are quite high.
Aside from the high-quality content from gameplay to visuals, GoT also got post-launch content and support from the developers. The post-launch content was even top-tier with online multiplayer with co-op gameplay experience, which only made it more attractive to many newcomers. Then it becomes highly compatible with the next-gen console PlayStation 5, hopefully improving it further.
Ghost of Tsushima is now available on PlayStation 4.
