Gotham Knights PSN Store Page Updates Supported Player Count

In a new update of the Gotham Knights PSN store page, it seems the developers have change their mind with a certain feature.

The new update focuses on the supported online player count for upcoming video game Gotham Knights. In the game, it will mainly be 1 player, but they can also play with another player via online support. Warner Bros. Interactive specifically mentioned that only 2 players at a time can be supported in this game, but with the new update, it seems there could have been a change in development, a good change.

The update PSN store page now says “Supports up to 4 online players with PS Plus” and “4 network players”. On this time of writing, no official word from Warner Bros. Interactive has been published to confirm this new change on the PSN store page, but there could be a major announcement down the line. It could also be an error on PlayStation’s part from a misunderstanding. Only an official announcement can clear this up.

If true though, this could mean Warner Bros. Interactive developers have made a big breakthrough in making 4 player support a reality. They seemed to convey the only 2 player specification as to say it was difficult to increase the player support at this time. Maybe they have finally made changes to make it possible.

Gotham Knights launches on October 25, 2022. It will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
