Graphics Comparison of Ratchet & Clank on Digital Foundry

With the recent release of Ratchet & Clank on the PS4, it received a lot of positive reviews. Also most of the critics states that the game looks fantastic aesthetically. Insomniac did a great job of making Ratchet & Clank a new way of “remastering” a game for the Playstation 4.

Here’s Digital Foundry’s Graphics Comparison of Ratchet & Clank of the PS2/PS3 vs. PS4.

Ratchet & Clank was first released on the Playstation 2 in the year 2002 while a remastered version was released on the Playstation 3 system. There were improvements on the remastered version on the Playstation 3 and the collection generally had positive feedbacks especially improvements on the controls and offered 720p resolution — making the game look more high-definition.

However, there are some that calls the Playstation 4 release of Ratchet & Clank as a “reboot” and others say it’s a “remastered” version. Both are correct. All I can say is that the game did well of making the game look more alive and added more visual upgrades and effects that makes this version the first Ratchet & Clank a blast.

Currently available on the Playstation 4 system for only $39.99 (Php 1895.00) at your local stores. Grab your copy now and experience the whole new remake of Ratchet & Clank.

What do you think of the improvements of Ratchet & Clank? Will you get it? Let us know in the comments!

Sirus Gaming Editor-In-Chief: We will get the game on Friday night to review the game since there were no codes left from PR to distribute. The review will come out by Monday (April 18) afternoon. So stay tuned!
