Game company Microsoft has officially confirmed that video game Halo Infinite will have two features that many fans have been wishing to have on release.
Head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty has confirmed that the upcoming and most anticipated video game will support multiplayer cross-play and cross-progression.
“We know many of you play across more than just your PC, including on Xbox and mobile,” Booty started. “That’s why we’re excited to announce Halo Infinite will support multiplayer cross-play and cross-progression when it releases later this year. That means if you’re playing on PC, you can play with your friends on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It also means that your multiplayer customization and progress will follow you across all platforms.”
This means players can use their progress on different platforms whenever they like without any issues at all and just boot it up right away with their accounts. They can also play with their friends on different platforms, also without issues. Everyone playing on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC get to enjoy the same content together.
“We have been working closely with the PC community to ensure that Halo Infinite offers a premier PC experience, including highly desired features such as support for ultrawide and super ultrawide screens, triple keybinds, a wide variety of advanced graphics options and more. We want to make sure that Halo is serving the PC community.”
So, hooray for all platforms! Halo Infinite can be enjoyed by the gaming community with almost no borders at all.
Halo Infinite will launch on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S this coming this year.
