Halo Infinite Player Count on Steam Seems to be Decreasing

It's a bit low right now.

How to Fix Achievements Not Unlocking Halo Infinite

While the launch of the Halo Infinite multiplayer was a huge success, it seems the Steam version has decreased quite a bit and players are already moving on.

In its current stats, Steam shows Halo Infinite only has a daily high count of just 30,000 players only and about 15,000 of them playing. Compare to the top games that Steam players are playing right now that usually have 250,000 to a million daily players, it seems 343 Industries’ latest title is now at the bottom pile of the Top 100 games on the PC platform. A sad fact, unfortunately.

While this is quite depressing, Steam is just only one platform on PC. Halo Infinite is available on multiple platforms and is part of PC Game Pass, which meant there are more players there easily. It is also on Xbox Series X/S with records showing it is on the top five games being played on Game Pass. It is a huge difference compared on Steam.

343 Industries did reveal last month Halo Infinite got the biggest launch in the history of the franchise and it had over 20 million players by the end of January 2022.

The game is still missing some content that many fans are looking for. 343 Industries are slowly adding those up in later updates, so it might get more audience if those get released later. Co-op mode in the main story campaign was also a feature many fans are looking forward to, which is releasing later this year.

Halo Infinite is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
