According to the list on gaming platform Steam, the popular video game collection Halo: The Master Chief Collection has achieved first place on ranking. Halo: Reach meanwhile comes close to third place.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection becomes a top seller
The Master Chief Collection has finally launched on PC today via Steam and the Microsoft Store. Due to the launch, a lot of PC gamers have purchased the game, which launched it to become the number-one selling game on the Steam platform. Reach also got ranked, which is on third place right now.
The game collection getting the top rank is a bit unexpected since the titles in it are classics. A lot of fans must have been waiting for the chance to get it on PC and experience it on higher definition resolution.
Microsoft plans to release more of its games on Steam soon, rather than keep them exclusive to the Microsoft Store. With this, more players will be attracted to their games since it is a more familiar platform compared to the new ones right now like the Epic Game Store.
The player count of the video game collection is also gaining traction. It is currently in 3rd place on the Steam Top 100 with more than 148,000 concurrent players.
The game collection is now available on Steam for only $40. Reach can be purchased for only $10. It is also available on the Microsoft Store and part of the Xbox Game Pass for PC.
