‘Dissending’ for Sweets is one of the side quests that players can complete in Hogwarts Legacy. In this side quest, Garreth Weasley will be needing some help in acquiring a special ingredient for a concoction that he’s planning to make.

How to unlock ‘Dissending’ for Sweets side quest
To unlock the Hogwarts Legacy ‘Dissending’ for Sweets side quest, you must first reach level 5 and complete the Potions Class main quest.
Dissending for Sweets objectives:
- Talk to Garreth Weasley
- Find the statue of the one-eyed witch
- Open the one-eyed witch statue
- Return to Garreth
Dissending for Sweets side quest Walkthrough
After the player reaches level 5 and completed the Potions Class main quest, Garreth Weasley will then be available to talk to at The Great Hall. Talk to Garreth to start the side quest.
Talk to Garreth Weasley
Once you talk to Garreth, he will reveal that he will need your help in getting some Billywig stings as an ingredient for his beverage that he’s planning to make. You can get some at the Honeydews’ cellar, but you’ll have to go through a secret passage to do so.
Find the statue of the one-eyed witch
Garreth tells you to find the statue of the one-eyed witch where the secret passage is located. The passage is hidden behind the statue of a one-eyed witch in the third-floor corridor. You can simply follow the quest marker until you find the statue.
Open the one-eyed witch statue
Interact with the statue, tap it with your wand, and say “Dissendium” to access the passage. Follow the path ahead until you reach a broken lift. Cast Reparo on it to fix it then ride it to the lower level.
Continue following the path until you arrive at the cave full of cobwebs. Cast Incendio to remove the cobwebs, then cast Levioso on the platform nearby to raise it. Keep going through the path and cast Levioso on the platforms that you see to be able to cross the gaps. There will also be broken platforms along the way to which you should cast Reparo first.
Once you reach the next gap with another broken platform, cast Accio on the platform holder first, then repair the platform and raise it up.
Continue moving down the path until you reach the closed gate. Cast Incendio near the braziers to light them up which will open the gate. Head up the ladder to go inside Honeydews storage where you will find the Billywig stings.
Return to Garreth
Once you have collected the Billywig stings, take the ingredient and head back to the castle, and talk to Garreth again to complete the quest.
