New reports reveal that the Hogwarts Legacy Early Access on Steam is now one of the biggest single-player launches in history.
According to Twitter Market Analyst Benji-Sales, SteamDB has revealed the numbers of Hogwarts Legacy’s concurrent player peak have now surpassed Fallout 4’s numbers. It is just before Cyberpunk 2077. Hogwarts Legacy now has a concurrent peak of 489,139 and is still climbing and might even double once the game officially launches tomorrow. Fallout 4 had a peak of 472,962 players.
The game early access period started on February 7, 2023 for players who got the game’s Deluxe Edition, which was $80 for consoles and $70 on PC. This also confirms that there were many fans who bought the Deluxe Edition in order to play the game three days early.
There is a certain group of individuals that wanted to boycott the game when it launched in Early Access, but it seems that they have failed to do so. With numbers like that, its popularity would only rise later on.
Hogwarts Legacy launches on February 10, 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
