According to a new leak, it is suggested that the upcoming game will be delayed due to many other Harry Potter related media have been delayed as well. It all leads to the unexpected delay of the Fantastic Beasts trailer, if the sources of the leak are true.
The trailer for the upcoming third film of the series is getting edited after a launch delay. This has affected all of the other Harry Potter-themed media and that includes Hogwarts Legacy.
There are other sources that claim the cause of the delay of the third film is due to recent world events, which is the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Warner Bros. did share its plans for its upcoming games including Hogwarts Legacy, which were for 2022 but this could be changed now.
Again, take this leak with a grain of salt for now. No official word from Warner Bros. have been released, so we will have to wait.
