How to unlock Spell Combination Practice 1 side quest

To unlock the Hogwarts Legacy Spell Combination Practice 1 side quest, you must first start the Professor Hecat’s Assignment 1 main quest. During this quest, Professor Hecat will give you a couple of assignments, one of which is to have a spell combination practice with Lucan Brattleby.

Spell Combination Practice 1 Objectives:

• Cast Accio followed by four consecutive basic attacks
• Cast Levioso followed by four consecutive basic attacks
• Complete spell combinations without allowing the dummy to hit the ground

Spell Combination Practice 1 side quest Walkthrough

After starting the required quest, head to the Clock Tower to talk to Lucan Brattleby. He will let you use the training buddy to practice doing your spell combos needed for the side quest.

Cast Accio followed by four consecutive basic attacks

Start with casting Accio to pull the dummy towards you, followed by four basic attacks.

Cast Levioso followed by four consecutive basic attacks

Next, cast Levioso to make the dummy float in the air, and follow it up with four basic attacks.

Complete spell combinations without allowing the dummy to hit the ground

Finally, you’ll need to string your spells and juggle the dummy in the air for the entire combo. Pay attention to the spell guide on the top part of the screen to know what spells and attacks you should cast. You’ll need to cast Levioso first, follow it up with three basic attacks, then cast Accio to pull the dummy back, and then finish up the combo with four basic attacks.

After pulling off the combo successfully, Lucan will talk to you once more to congratulate you, then you’ll complete the side quest.

• 180 XP
