Game publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Sumo Digital recently announced the multiplayer PvPvE heist game Hood: Outlaws and Legends post-launch plans and Year 1 Edition content in a new trailer.
Gather your team of Outlaws and attempt to steal treasure from an oppressive government in a dark and violent medieval world. Expect a lot of free gameplay content across the first year of post-launch support, while those who got the Year 1 Edition can gain access to the three premium Battle Passes covering three seasons, to unlock exclusive cosmetics.
The first year of post-launch support will be split into four themed seasons. Each of these seasons will have major free gameplay additions, community events, new cosmetics, and more. There will be a new map called Mountain, which will be released after the launch of the initial season: Litha. The Mountain map will have two distinct areas connected by bridges.
There will be more additions to the game soon. The first season will be Litha and it will introduce a new game mode to spice things up with a bigger focus on bloody action. There will be a new free Outlaw coming to Sherwood called Eidaa.
The Year 1 Edition is now available for pre-order now, including access to Hood and three premium Battle Passes. Pre-ordering either the standard or the Year 1 Edition offers early access to the game on May 7 and also the Forest Lords cosmetic pack for free. It includes a skin for each character and weapon in the game.
