Horizon Zero Dawn Gets A New Patch – 1.33

Guerrilla Games’ continuous support for Horizon Zero Dawn is beyond impressive – it’s one of the well-optimized titles to date.

This time, while a small portion of the Horizon‘s playerbase experienced issues, Guerrilla Games is doing their best to give out their full commitment to fix them.

In this latest update, a new feature is added. An option to allow players to create a manual save from a previous game when starting a new game.

Here are the full patch notes of 1.33:

    New Features

    • Implemented an option to allow making a manual save from a previous Game when starting a New Game to avoid losing progress.

    General Fixes

    • Fixed an issue where for some players Tearblast Arrows incorrectly deal extra Tear damage on Ultra Hard.
    • Fixed an issue where some players were able to reroll Special Modification Boxes by saving and reloading.

    Progression issues fixes

    • Fixed an issue in ‘The Womb of the Mountain’ when playing on Story difficulty where some players were able to kill the Corruptor outside of the gate, blocking progression because the player is not able to interact with it to continue the quest.[/alert]

Horizon Zero Dawn performed well in sales and was also critically praised Guerrilla Games‘ efforts into making a game out from their first-person shooter expertise. “Developing the game was a labor of love, so it’s extremely satisfying to see that it elicits the same passion and enthusiasm from the gaming public that we felt during its development” says Herman Hulst, Managing Director over at Guerrilla Games.

The game received a perfect score from our editor-in-chief; stating that it’s one of the most “immersive” games this year.

Players are in for a treat on November 7, Horizon‘s first DLC will romp through owners with a story continuation in The Frozen Wilds downloadable content.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a PS4 exclusive and it’s currently available.
