How to Defeat Korsica in Hi-Fi RUSH – Boss Fight Guide

Korsica is one of the bosses that players must face in Hi-Fi Rush. She’s the head of security in Vandalay Corp. Her loyalty to the corporation was challenged when she found out about what Kale is truly planning behind the implants he’s handing out to the people, but getting her to join Chai’s side won’t be easy.

Read ahead as we look at Korsica’s moves and attacks and share some tips and strategies on how to survive and win the fight.

How to beat Korsica in Boss Fight Hi-Fi RUSH

Korsica’s fight won’t be the same as the previous boss fights since Chai would want to recruit her over to their side. Because of this, Chai will be on the defensive for the entire fight.

    Korsica Phase 1

The plan is to tire out Korsica by letting her attack Chai until her stamina runs out. Korsica will be attack three times in the first phase with different timings. Similar to parrying other enemies’ attack, lightning symbols will also appear above Korsica’s head while she’s preparing to attack. Pay attention to the beat of how these symbols appear.

You can then either use the sound after beat pattern or the rings that will appear on screen as your cue to execute your parries. Time your parries right to avoid taking damage. After each attack, Korsica’s stamina will slowly get drained; missing a beat will cause her to do the combo one more time and her stamina won’t drain.

    Korsica Phase 2

On the next phase, Korsica will include un-parryable attacks in her combos. This will be marked by another symbol on her prep phase. Instead of parrying, you will need to time your dodges for these attacks instead. She will be attacking four times.

    Korsica Phase 3

Korsica will continue dishing out her attacks, but this time it will be a mixture of long combos and short combos that are chained together.

Once her stamina is fully drained, prepare to do one last beat to catch Korsica when she falls. Chai will then try escape with an unconscious Korsica while Kale is trying to seize them. Kale manages to catch up to them and deal his final blow, but the duo just barely managed to survive the explosion with the help of Peppermint and the gang.

    Korsica’s Special Attack

Korsica’s special attack is the Twin Assault which haves her attack along with Chai using her batons. When this special attack is triggered, you will need to mash the attack button, followed by a timed ring attack.

    Hi-Fi RUSH Korisca Best Strategies

    • Depending on your play style, you can focus either purely on the sound cues or on the visual cues. Some of her attacks can still be anticipated mid-combo in case you miss out, but it’s mostly when she’s doing the un-parryable attacks.
    • When using Korsica as your partner, her special attack deals massive damage on single targets, so best to use it on elite enemies or on bosses.
