Growth Points or GP are points that are used to activate the Phantom Thieves’ skills and abilities in Persona 5 Tactica. GP can be earned in many ways, and knowing how to get a lot of them early on will give you a great advantage in later fights with all the skills and bonuses that could be unlocked.

Read ahead as we share the ways and techniques on how to earn GP in Persona 5 Tactica.

Every Different Method to Earn GP in P5T

    • Earn GP through Missions
    • Earn GP through Quests
    • Earn GP through Talk

Players can earn GP in several ways, including by completing missions, quests, and engaging in talk dialogues. They’re often rewarded in small amounts for everyone on the roster or in large amounts for specific characters.

Every Different Method to Earn GP in P5T

The total amount of GP required to unlock all of the skills differs for each character, ranging from 410 GP for Erina to 485 GP for Joker. Players can view the amount of collected GP per character through the Party > Skills menu.

    Earn GP through Missions

One of the ways to earn GP is to simply play through the main story missions. Each mission can give out 2 GP to everyone on your roster, regardless of whether they weren’t used for the mission. Plus, missions are repeatable, so you can grind for GP in the early part of the story if you wish to do so.

    Earn GP through Quests

Quests are also huge sources of GP. These quests are special battles where you will usually have two pre-chosen units and different kinds of objectives. After completing the quest, the pre-chosen units will then gain 20 GP (10 GP for Erina), though some quests unlock Persona fusions instead. Unlike missions, quests are not repeatable, but they’re still worth completing, especially with the huge amount of GP they provide.

    Earn GP through Talk

The Talk function allows you to go through some dialogues between the characters in the game while they are in Leblanc. Aside from the additional story that you can get, you’ll also be rewarded with around 2 to 6 GP for all characters on the roster just by going through the dialogues for the first time. You can only redeem the rewards once, but you can review the dialogues in case you missed any.

The amount of GP obtained for the Talks per chapter are as follows:

    • Chapter 1: 2 GP
    • Chapter 2: 3 GP
    • Chapter 3: 3 GP
    • Chapter 4: 6 GP

That explains how to earn GP in Persona 5 Tactica. If you’re looking for additional tutorials and walkthroughs, feel free to check them out on our P5T main page.
