Banish is one of the abilities that players can use in Dredge. This ability allows players to temporarily ward off most dangerous and malicious entities that are out in the open. This is very helpful especially when exploring places where there are always aggressive creatures patrolling the water.
In this guide, we will go through the steps on how to get the Banish ability in Dredge.
Step 1: Get the Manifest ability
After giving the second relic and getting the Manifest ability from The Collector, he will point you to the location of the next relic, which is in the middle of Stellar Basin.
Step 2: Complete Research Assistant pursuit
During the final parts of the Research Assistant pursuit, you will be given a way to deter the creature from the Stellar Basin from attacking, allowing you to safely go to the middle of the basin. One of the dredging spots in the basin has the Jewel Encrusted Band relic.
Step 3: Give the Jewel Encrusted Band to The Collector
Go back to Blackstone Isle and hand over the relic to The Collector. He will then grant you the Banish ability.
How to Use the Banish ability
To use the Banish ability, simply choose it from the ability wheel. Then, whenever you see that you are about to get attacked by an aggressive sea creature or an entity, use the ability to ward them off. The Banish ability has a cooldown period, so try to use it only when you need to or use your other skills, such as Haste to get away from danger.
