According to a Japanese media outlet, recently released video game Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has shipped a lot of units worldwide.
According to Famitsu’s report, the game has shipped 3 million units worldwide. This new figure is a combination of total global shipments and download sales that occurred since launch.
With these results, this makes Age of Calamity the biggest and best-selling Warriors game ever. In the past, cross-over games only got past 1 million shipments worldwide and that even took weeks to achieve. Some even months more.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, the game has launch sales that were up to 324 percent greater than the original game in the UK. The latter needed more than three months in order to get past the 1 million mark worldwide.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
