In Space with Markiplier Part 1 All Endings Guide

A guide on how to get to all the endings in In Space with Markiplier Part 1.

In Space with Markiplier

In Space with Markiplier is a choose-your-own-adventure game/film which is produced and directed by Mark Fischbach, also known as the YouTuber Markiplier. This is the third “with Markiplier” series that has been done by the channel on YouTube following the success of A Date with Markiplier and A Heist with Markiplier.

The story makes use of YouTube’s video card feature which lets viewers see the next suggested videos, as well as its feature of letting content creators un-list videos; only viewers that have the link can view unlisted videos. With these two features, it allows creators to create branching story lines by making the viewers decide which video to watch next depending on which pre-determined option they go for.

With the many branching story lines that In Space with Markiplier has, it’s no surprise that some people spent the time and effort to discover every ending that exists in this story. That includes us. And with Part 2 coming soon on May 2, it’s the best time to catch up and see all the endings the first part has in store.

In this guide, we will list down all of the In Space with Markiplier: Part 1 endings that we’ve discovered so far.

WARNING: Obviously, this guide will contain MASSIVE SPOILERS, so if you wish not to be spoiled, you can watch the film first and see what endings you get. You can always come back here in case you want to know which endings you might have missed.

How many Endings does In Space with Markiplier Part 1 have?

In Space with Markiplier Part 1 has 41 endings. This includes counting all the soft endings, true endings, multiple endings within a video, and same endings that are counted separately based on the video that precedes them. Per act, there are:

  • First Act: 16 endings
  • Second Act: 9 endings
  • Third Act: 16 endings
How is an Ending defined?

In this guide, we will only be listing down endings and the paths that you’ll have to watch to get to that ending. We define an ending in two ways:

  • Soft ending: These are the endings that result in you, the Captain, dying and resetting. These endings still have a title card that leads to another video.
  • True ending: These are endings that result in the film’s credits and a hard stop.

In Space with Markiplier Part 1 All Endings

These endings will be done in sections that are divided by the junction videos where most of the other videos lead to. Currently, the entire film is divided into three main parts or acts and endings will be listed per act. There are some non-junction videos that can be reached via different paths, but we’ll only list down the shortest path.

In Space With Markiplier Notes
  • The endings listed are based on the definition that we mentioned above. We may have a different interpretation from others as to what an ending is, therefore the total ending count may not match.
  • Since it’s heavily hinted (and by now confirmed) that this is just Part 1 of In Space With Markiplier, it is possible that the ending count per act may change, or some of the choices from Part 2 will refer back to some of the videos in Part 1.
  • If we missed some endings, we’re sorry. The whole mapping experience was really confusing, but fun at the same time, so we might have overlooked at some stuff.
