Hogwarts Legacy is set to release on all mainstream platforms on February 10, 2023. But as such, will the game be released on Xbox Game Pass? Considering a good number of games do release on the popular service on day one gives credence to the question.
Here’s the thing though, the game is available for pre-order on all major consoles and PC. As for its status on Xbox Game Pass or Ultimate Pass day one release, the answer is a resounding “no”. Now, this doesn’t mean that the game will never release on the service, that can still happen down the line. But as it stands, it’s not in the cards in a couple of weeks or when the game releases on previous-gen consoles on April 04, 2023. At least that we are aware of.
Regardless, the game is still set to release on Xbox Series X|S on February 10, 2023, and on Xbox One on April 04, 2023. You’ll have to pay full price to for the game right off the bat, which is a bummer to those who want to give it a spin before deciding if they want to keep the game in their collection.
The Standard Edition of Hogwarts Legacy on both PC and Xbox One will cost $59.99. The Deluxe Edition costs $69.99. If you’re planning to buy the game on Xbox Series X|S, however, it’s going to cost you, $69.99 and $79.99, respectively. On the bright side, if you opt to buy the Deluxe Edition, you’ll be able to play the game early starting on February 07, 2023.
