Yes, The Day Before is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but not at the same time as it will release on PC. This means that the game will first be released as early access available for purchase on Steam before being released for consoles.
The Day Before will only release for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S once it reaches the end of its early access. There’s no given date yet for when that will happen, but developers Fntastic did mention that the game will fully launch when they believe it’s reached its best possible version. Until then, The Day Before will only be playable on PC.
The good news is that if you’re planning on playing it on consoles, you’re guaranteed to be playing a better version of The Day Before. Early access releases have missing features and are known to have bugs before they’re updated for the full launch.
The Day Before has unfortunately been met with a lot of controversy because of its lackluster gameplay, among other things. However, this MMO does offer an interesting blend between The Division and The Last of Us, which would make it interesting to see how developers Fntastic could possibly pull it off.
