SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake features a currency called Gold Doubloons, a form of collectible used to unlock costumes as you progress through the main story. There are a total of 8 gold doubloons that can be found in Jelly Glove World, and this guide will tell you where to look for all of them, providing some tips and tricks along the way.
To collect all of the Jelly Glove World gold doubloons in one go, you must first complete the map’s campaign by defeating the boss, Glovey Glove. Once done, fast-travel to the Glove World Entrance checkpoint and interact with Glovey Glove. This will unlock three carnival challenges that reward you with gold doubloons and a secret prize once you complete them.
Tips: You may quickly travel to any checkpoint on the map by using the fast travel to checkpoints feature. To do this, open your world map and select on the little clams that represent various areas throughout the map.
Now that you’re all set, let’s go over where you can get all of the Jelly Glove World Gold Doubloons in order:
Jelly Glove World Gold Doubloon #1
For your first Gold Doubloon, you’ll need to beat the Whack-a-Glove challenge for the first time, located at the Glove World Entrance. This requires you to use the karate kick to pop 25 balloons within 60 seconds.
Jelly Glove World Gold Doubloon #2
After beating the challenge once, talk to the fish in front of the Whack-A-Glove and beat the Whack-A-Glove challenge a second time. This will now require you to pop 30 balloons in 60 seconds.
Jelly Glove World Gold Doubloon #3
Ride the Mitten Rollercoaster, adjacent to the carousel, and collect all the hearts along the way. A Gold Doubloon will spawn once you successfully complete it.
Jelly Glove World Gold Doubloon #4
Head over to the signage with 3 symbols next to the rollercoaster and stomp on the button in front of it to start the challenge. This requires you to find and hit 3 gongs in order (Glove, Heart, Star) within 60 seconds.
Here’s where to find all Gongs in the Glove World Entrance:
- Gong with a Glove Symbol – located in between the carousel seats.
- Gong with a Heart Symbol – located behind the carousel, next to the ice cream shop.
- Gong with a Star Symbol – hidden towards the right of the signage, behind the totems.
Use your bubble wand or karate kick move to hit the gongs. The doubloon will spawn in front of the signage once you successfully complete the challenge.
Jelly Glove World Gold Doubloon #5
Fast-travel to the Tunnel of Glove checkpoint. Once there, head inside the second tunnel where the boats are coming out. Follow the path through the end until you reach a heart-shaped dock and you’ll find the doubloon floating on top the a rock.
Jelly Glove World Gold Doubloon #6
Fast-travel to the Central Plaza checkpoint, then head to your left and take on the bubble wand shooting range challenge, where you have to hit 15 glove signboards within 45 seconds. The doubloon will spawn behind you once you’ve successfully completed it.

From the Central Plaza spawn point, go right and beat the Strong Glove challenge for the first time. All you need to do is to rapidly tap the attack button to pump SpongeBob’s fist.
Jelly Glove World Gold Doubloon #8
After beating the challenge once, talk to the fish citizen near you beat the Strong Glove challenge a second time. Now tap that button a lot faster than before and win.
