The world famous toy franchise, Lego, just released a teaser trailer for their upcoming multi-platform game, Lego Dimensions.
Lego Dimensions is an action-adventure game which lets players play the role of characters from different Lego sets to stop a masked villain from ripping vortexes and jumping through the different worlds. Similar to Skylanders, Disney Infinity, and Amiibo which use RFID chips embedded inside collectible figurines, Lego Dimensions will make use of Minifigs which players can synchronize with the game through a portal to be able to play them in the game.
The trailer stars Community actor Joel McHale and Minifigs Wyldstyle from the Lego Movie, Batman, and Gandalf, representing their respective franchises and both also showed up in the Lego Movie.
Lego Dimensions is set to be released on September 27 of this year for the PS3, PS4, XBox 360, XBox One, and Wii U consoles.
