9D9 Problems Side Mission is one of the optional quests that can be done in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. In this side mission, EV-9D9 will ask for help to look for one of its droids and figure out what happened to it. This mission is relatively easy to do and it unlocks a new character once it is completed.

In this guide, we will look at the steps on how to locate the missing droid to complete the 9D9 Problems side mission.

How to Start the 9D9 Problems Side Mission?

To unlock the 9D9 Problems Side Mission in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, head to the Jundland Wastes in Tatooine and go out to the back of Jabba’s Palace where you will find an EV-9D9 droid. Talk to the droid and it will ask you to find one of its droids.

    Talk to the Jawas

Upon accepting the mission, markers will pop out in the minimap. Go to these markers and use your Protocol Droid to talk to the Jawas to get more info about the droid. They will tell you that the droid has been stealing from them. The droid has also left a trail of junk that you can follow.

    Follow the trail of junk

You will see that the trail ends at a door, but the droid inside will not let you in.

Use the Force to lift a Protocol Droid to the terminal

There is a terminal above the door that a Protocol Droid can interface with. Use a Jedi or a Dark Side character to lift your Protocol Droid up to reach the terminal, and then have the Protocol Droid interact with the terminal to open the door.

    Defeat the droid

The droid will put up a fight against you. Once it has been defeated, you can head back to EV-9D9 to complete the 9D9 Problems side mission and unlock EV-9D9 as a playable character.
