The Ancient Idols Side Mission is one of the optional quests that can be done in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and is part of the Aspiring Scholar mission chain. In this side mission, three ancient idols have to be found and gathered from different places in the galaxy. This mission is a relatively easy one to complete and it does not require any particular class to accomplish.

In this guide, we will look into the locations of where to find the ancient idols to complete the Ancient Idols Side Mission.

How to start the Ancient Idols Side Mission?

To initiate the Ancient Idols Side Mission in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, talk to the Aspiring Scholar in Theed, Naboo. Make sure that you have unlocked and traveled to Takodana at least once to unlock this quest.

You will need to travel to three different planets where each of the ancient idols can be found. Thankfully, the planets are marked and there will also be a marked area in the minimap showing the general location of the ancient idol. Here are all the locations of the Ancient Idols needed for the side mission:

Go to Lake Paonga in Naboo

Head to the west side of the map through the tunnel. As you exit the tunnel, there will be bushes on the right side and behind them is the Golden Ancient Idol.

Go to Maz’s Castle in Takodana

As you enter the castle, head to the other end of it and go down the staircase. At the very end of the staircase, enter the first room to your right. Smash the tool rack inside the room and you will get the Silver Ancient Idol.

Go to the Great Temple in Yavin 4

Enter the Great Temple on the ground floor and head towards the southwest side to arrive at the ruins. At the north corner of the ruins, check behind the large metal crate to find the Red Ancient Idol.

After gathering all the ancient idols, head back to the Aspiring Scholar in Theed to get your Kyber Brick reward and unlock Fode and Beed as a playable character.
