Game company Square Enix recently announced that upcoming video game Marvel’s Avengers will be launching on next-generation consoles.

The upcoming game will also be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when they launch this holiday 2020. Aside from this good news, the game company revealed that if players own the current-gen version of the game, they can upgrade to the next-generation version at no additional cost, regardless if they move from PS4 to PS5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X. Those who will be moving their saves to the next-gen consoles will transfer their player profiles and progression so they can easily continue their progress. To top it all off, the game will support cross-gen play, which means PS5 players can play with PS4 players and Xbox Series X players can connect with Xbox One players.

The upcoming game will now feature extremely fast load times, boosted resolution and fidelity, improved texturing and armor destruction, ray tracing, and other bonuses with the help of the next-gen hardware. Square Enix assures that the PS5 experience will be seamless and dynamic, which will fully utilize the ultra-high speed SSD. It will also take advantage of the PS5 DualSense advanced haptics, and the immersive spatial audio. PS5 will also provide players with options for High Framerate mode or Enhanced Graphics Mode to fully customize their visual experience.

Marvel’s Avengers will be launching on PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC first on Sept. 4.
