Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Takes a Lot of PS5 SSD Space

According to the PlayStation official website, upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be taking a lot of space in the PlayStation 5 SSD.

The official website revealed the minimum space it would need for the upcoming Spider-Man game on the PS5. It revealed that the Ultimate Launch Edition will at least take 105GB of space while the regular version will take half of that, 50GB minimum.

According to Insomniac Games, the art assets have been completed updated in order to take advantage of the next-gen console’s power. This meant that every resource coming from the original have been improved for the Miles Morales version. It will have better lighting, facial animations, ray-tracing, and many more upgrades. Even the smallest details will get improved to utilize the PS5’s power.

Also related is the minimum space needed for another game, Demon’s Souls. It will need 66GB of SSD space.

Expect to have bigger sized next-gen games in the future as developers will make use of the PS5’s ability to load heavy visuals in an instant.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available on the PS5 launch, Nov. 12. Ultimate Edition will include the original game for only $70 while the base game will only be priced $50. They also recently revealed Miles Morales’ new alternative suit here.
