Metroid Prime Remastered Incinerator Drone Boss Guide

The Incinerator Drone is one of the bosses that Samus must defeat in Metroid Prime Remastered. Although it is just a non-malicious machine programmed to incinerate, it can still pose a threat as it can enrage the nearby wasps and make them fight for its sake.

Read ahead as we go through the Incinerator Drone boss fight and share tips on how to win the fight easily.

How to reach the Incinerator Drone

In the Chozo Ruins, make your way to the Gathering Hall and look for the save room connected to it. Using the save room as reference, head towards the platforms towards the left and use them to climb up higher until you see a small tunnel.

Go into Morph Ball mode and go through the tunnel, then at the end of it, jump across to the other door. Continue moving through the path ahead, then just as you arrive at a large room, turn left and take the path into another corridor. You will pass by a Stone Toad, but just take note of it for now and continue through the next small tunnel. The next door that you will open will lead to the Incinerator Drone.

Before engaging, take the time to scan the boss as part of the game’s completion.

How to defeat the Incinerator Drone boss step 1

The fight against the Incinerator Boss is not complicated at all. All you need to do avoid getting hit by its flames by constantly moving to the side along with its body’s rotation, then shoot the red light that pops up from its top. This will make the flame shooter turn and shoot flames up to the hives directly above.

You will then have to fight a Barbed War Wasps that spawn from the disturbed hive. You then have to also eliminate them while keeping a close eye on the boss whenever its weakspot pops out. After a couple of cycles with the boss, its flamethrower will eventually destroy the hive followed by its own explosion.

How to defeat the Incinerator Drone boss step 3

After defeating the boss, grab the upgrade to be able to use the Morph Ball Bomb ability.
