Metroid Prime Remastered Super Missile: how to get & use

The Super Missile is one of Samus’ attacks that can be obtained in Metroid Prime Remastered. It is a powerful charged-up attack that sends out several missiles all at once to deal one explosive attack. Obtaining this power-up is necessary in order to defeat powerful enemies easily and to clear out blocked passageways that could lead to more secrets.

Read ahead to know how and where to get the Metroid Prime Remastered Super Missile and how to use it effectively.

How to get the Super Missile in Metroid Prime Remastered

You can get the Super Missile inside the Space Pirate laboratory within the Phendrana Drifts. It is an upgrade that is hard to miss as it would be shown as part of an unlocking cutscene.

Once you get inside the Space Pirates’ facility, make your way through the different rooms and corridors while fighting off the opposing Space Pirates and enemies. You will eventually arrive at a large cylindrical room, and upon clearing out the enemies guarding it, you will be able to scan the panels within the room. You can take the time to scan the other panels or objects of interest to get some Pirate Data.

Scan the first panel on the left side to initialize the holographic sequence and enable a Morph Ball slot nearby. Head over to the slot and activate it with your Morph Ball ability. This will enable another slot on the other side of the room. Make your way towards the slot and activate it. This will activate the central pylon.

Go down and activate each of the four slots surrounding the pylon to activate the holograph showing the star system that you are in. It will also show the Super Missile upgrade right above the projector. Take the time to scan each of the planets in the hologram, then jump on top of the projector to get the Super Missile upgrade.

How to use the Super Missile in Metroid Prime Remastered

To use the Super Missile, you have to make sure that you have your Power Beam currently equipped by pressing the X button + D-Pad Up. Charge up your weapon by holding the A or ZR button, then press the R button to fire the missiles. This attack uses 5 missiles per shot.
