My Top 5 RPGs of 2017

Role-playing games (RPGs) have been around for years and they can surely impress us in various ways. Taking up the role of a protagonist in a fictional world makes us live in those games and that is why we come to like or perhaps love them. It is all up to us players on how to develop our characters and how the story goes.

A lot of RPGs have been released this year and we tend to find difficulties in choosing which one we will play first. So, here’s my top five RPGs games in 2017:

    Horizon: Zero Dawn

Venture through a post-apocalyptic world where machines rule. Gather all the supplies you can and start crafting. Using explosives, spears, arrows and traps to kill beast-like robots or sneaking would help if sneak attacks are your forte. It’s not just about man against machine, there are also human targets in the land.

    Persona 5

A high school student by day and hero by night. You will start off as an average high school student. Go to class, make school work and just live like a normal teenager but, at night you will be fighting the demons that lurk in the minds of corrupted adults and change their hearts for good.

    NieR: Automata

Setting in a futuristic world where humanity fled to the moon after an alien invasion. As humanity’s last hope, an elite android must fight against the machines that roam the earth’s surface and take back home.

    The Surge

A game style similar to the Souls series but a sci-fi version. Go around the environment in an exo-suit which can be upgraded through the game. Fight off other machines and explore around to get more upgrades or target your enemies well to get their enhancements instead.

    Mass Effect: Andromeda

This game received a lot of mixed reviews, either it was how bad or good this game is or how it is not connected to the previous installments. You got to admit though, navigating and battling around the galaxy is exciting. 2017 will offer more anticipated RPGs on the later months. For now, these five are good to go. What are you waiting for? Grab your wallets and buy games now

So what are your best RPG games this year? Let us know down in the comments!

Probably the youngest to join our ranks, she's still in school. With the busy schedule that she has, Rachelle still finds a way to grab the controller and plays whenever she can.
