Infinity Ward has recently posted on social media and posted a short message possibly describing a new Call of Duty game.
According to the newest post on Infinity Ward’s official Twitter account, the message says “A new generation of Call of Duty is coming soon. Stay frosty.” It seems it is their turn now to develop a new Call of Duty game since Activision usually rotates between three developers, which are Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer.
With the reboot Modern Warfare as big success for the franchise, it seems many fans are looking forward to the next Call of Duty title they are making. Some speculators suggest the next title could be the sequel of Modern Warfare, while others think it will be something new.
Activision did release its latest financials and it says Infinity Ward is now “working on the most ambitious plan in franchise history, with industry-leading innovation and a broadly appealing franchise setting.” This confirms their tease just recently for a new generation of Call of Duty.
