Game company Amazon Game Studios recently announced that video game New World release date will be pushed back.
New World release date changed
Amazon Games’ new game will not be releasing this coming May. Instead, the release date has been changed to August 25. Developers had to push back the launch due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges that it has caused for them at the studio.
Game director Scot Lane assured that the new release date is for the best so that it will be available for players in the best quality without any major issues. Aside from the official release date, the closed-beta phase has also been pushed back to July. This is quite understandable due to the pandemic, which made gaming companies have their staff members work from home instead.
The game is a PC exclusive game and no details of it coming to the console platforms.
