New World – Where to find Salt and How to Use It

Here are all of the locations of those provision crates where you might find Salt inside them.

Salt is one of the most basic ingredients in cooking food from recipes you have collected in New World. Since most recipes require several types of ingredients, some of which can only be found in the wild. Salt is one of those materials that can only be found in specific locations. Learn where to find Salt in New World and how to get Salt from the provision crates that can be found on the map.

New World Salt Locations

There are two locations where you can find salt: Everfall and Brightwood. First of all, Salt can be found in provision crates and these can spawn in specific areas, usually on landmarks that can be found in a region.

You can find salt in the provision crates scattered in this map for Brightwood region. While there are not that many, these are mostly guarded by quite powerful creatures with levels 26 to 29. Players who are below those levels must not try to challenge these creatures as you will just get your gear damaged when you die. Better stick to the other region that we are suggesting below.

Beginner Tip: Go on a patrol from Brightwood Isle down to Twineborough at the south of the region. Again, there are high-level creatures there so be careful along the way.

These are all the locations in Everfall Town where you can find salt inside those provision crates found on the map. Remember, not all provision crates will have Salt in it, but there is a high chance you can grab one inside when looting these. Some are also guarded by creatures but they are lower-leveled than those from Brightwood.

Tip: Go find a lot of the provision crates at Ebonrock. There are some high level creatures there but you can handle them easily. There are also a few crates at Riverworn Grotto.
