Nintendo Officially Apologizes for Joy-Con Drift issues; No Comment Further Due to Lawsuit

Game company Nintendo has officially apologized for the issues of the Joy-Cons for the Nintendo Switch.

The company gave this apology during a recent financial Q&A. They did not make any comment further unfortunately due to the current class-action lawsuit they are facing right now.

The Joy-Con drifting issues has become one of the biggest problems for any owner of hybrid console and handheld and many have complained. A class-action lawsuit was filed last year with Nintendo being accused of not disclosing the defective Joy-Con controls. Just recently, the company was asked about it during this month’s financial meeting and what they could do to improve the product in the future.

    Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa answered:

Regarding the Joy-Con, we apologize for any trouble caused to our customers. We are continuing to aim to improve our products, but as the Joy-Con is the subject of a class-action lawsuit in the United States and this is still a pending issue, we would it like to refrain from responding about any specific actions.
