Game company Nintendo just launched its officially licensed memory cards for the Switch console.

Nintendo Switch gets licensed memory cards

The memory cards for the Switch console are made by popular storage hardware manufacturer SanDisk. These are microSDXC cards, which have dependable, high-performance capabilities for the console system. There are three card sizes, which are 64 GB, 128 GB, and the highest 256 GB. These are priced at $17.99, $32.99, and $52.99 respectively.

The cards boast transfer rates up to 100MB/s1, which prove its high performance in loading games and transferring files fast. Each storage size also has its different colors and designs related to games made by the company like the mushroom and star from Mario, and the popular logo from The Legend of Zelda.

In related news, the company recently released a new firmware update version 10.0.2 for the Switch console.

The memory cards are currently available for purchase on the Western Digital Store.
