It’s a great day for Nintendo! Nintendo’s hybrid console just surpassed 1-million in Japan according to reports of Famitsu.
The Switch has performed better than the Wii U. Even though it’s been a slow progress for Nintendo’s console in its first few weeks, the hybrid console’s availability has been difficult as it gets sold out apparently quickly from retail stores.
Nintendo has also apologized for the short supply of units through its website, and they said they’re doing their best to make more and meet the demand. The company has also promised to have more units made for July and August, including the Splatoon 2 bundle, and they expect a significant supply of Switch this autumn for Super Mario Odyssey.
Famitsu has revealed the sales of their games on the Switch with Mario Kart leading:
Mario Kart 8: Deluxe (Nintendo) – 501,614
Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Nintendo) – 460,480
1-2-Switch (Nintendo) – 200,807
Arms (Nintendo) – 154,845
Super Bomberman R (Konami)- 92,112
