A new financial report revealed that the Nintendo Switch hybrid console has gotten a huge sales milestone just recently.
According to game company Nintendo, the console has surpassed 74 million sales worldwide. Due to this new report, the company has raised its expectations for a full-year Switch Sales. The original projection of 24 million units was easily surpassed last time, now they are expecting sales will be going somewhere around 26 million units by the end of March 2021.
President Shuntara Furukawa states that Nintendo now has a sufficient component supply for now despite industry wide shortages. This means that more Nintendo Switch consoles will be produced soon. Supplies were low recently, but with this new statement, there should be more units on retail store shelves soon.
