Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition Publisher Apologizes for Performance Issues

Big patch coming soon.

Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition publisher is apologizing to players after they complained of poor performance and various issues were discovered.

The updated version of the Outer Worlds was recently released. It came to new gen consoles and PC promising big improvements to gameplay, visuals, and a lot more. Instead, players encountered various problems along the way, which infuriated a lot of those who were hyped about the big new additions.

One player took to Reddit to complain about the performance issues they got after upgrading to the new version. An Obsidian player support representative quickly responded to apologize and promised changes are coming as soon as possible.

“I am sorry that you all have been experiencing performance issues with The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition,” the representative said. “I understand how frustrating this can be, and I assure you the team at Private Division is working on getting a patch out as soon as possible. When we have more information about that patch we’ll be sure to let folks know.”

Private Division, the developers behind the game, posted on Twitter to also apologize to the players. Their team is now working on a new patch for PC and consoles in order to address many of the visual and performance issues that are reported. They are now asking the players to wait for a bit as they plan to release a major patch to fix this mess by the end of next week.
