Update: New details released. Lifeweaver is indeed a Thai scientist and their real name is Niran ‘Bua’ PruksaManee. Their ability combines nature and technology to offer new ways to heal, move and damage, both for themselves and their team. Check out the trailer below:

Blizzard Entertainment has finally introduced the 37th hero of Overwatch 2 Lifeweaver.
Lifeweaver is the 37th hero of the sequel and will be introduced in the fourth season of the Battle Pass. They are a support hero and seems to be of Asian descent with pink cherry blossoms as their motif. They are also the first pansexual support hero in the game. No other details have been revealed yet, but it should be introduced soon.
The image attached to the Twitter post gives fans some hints of what Lifeweaver’s background should be. Aside from their outfit, the background has a building reminiscent of Thailand’s real temples. They could also be related to Symmetra in the game.
Fans are clearly hyped for Lifeweaver as the Twitter post has been retweeted thousands of times and has gotten over 30,000 likes in less than an hour. More should be revealed at a later time.
Overwatch 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
