I love Overwatch. From our first pieces of concept art,to the firstmapswe built, to the first time I was able to run aroundasTracer(who at that early pointshotlaser beams out of her eyes),this game hasjustclicked with me. I love itsinspiring, hopeful, beautifulworld worth fighting for. I love its characters—larger than life, colorful, powerful, andglobal. And most of all,I love thefast, fluidgameplay requiring teamwork, situational awareness, andquickdecision making.
I also recognize that making games at Blizzardhasalways beenagroupeffortand never about just onepoint of view. Together withthe rest of the team I feel fortunatethatwe have a deep bench of development and creative leaders, numerous veteran Blizzard artists and designers, and some extremely talented new blood as well—along withtons of supportthroughout the companyforthelive gameandforOverwatch 2.
