Perfecting A Masterpiece: 12 The Witcher 3 Mods That Will Make You Feel Like It’s Remastered

eXTensible Finishers (link)

Despite the gimmicky title, this mod allows you choose how slow-motion kills appear, and how often they happen. Various adjustments to kill angles often show the brutality of combat in a close-up, and the frequency of finishers is increased. The Immersive Cam mod really works well in conjunction to this one, and almost makes the combat feel slightly different than the original.

Minimap Reworked (link)

Undoubtedly my favorite Witcher 3 mod. It does not seem like much, but the implications are what matters to me. About a year ago, I noticed that when I was playing the Witcher 3 while doing quests, something struck me. I barely looked at the environment. I got into this automated habit of just looking at the minimap instead of the surrounding area in order to accomplish tasks. I hated that, and I hated how this handholding gaming culture is spilling over to other games. I am aware that not everyone is like me, and some/many can overlook this nitpick but if this relevant to you then I highly recommend this ingenious solution to anyone interested.

To end this list, I will provide 2 bonus mods that are just for fun. They are nothing that I consider critical for the experience, but let’s not forget to have fun every once in a while. All these mods are optional after all.
