Atlus has recently announced that Persona 5 Royal PC and Xbox launch include a lot of DLCs that the original did not have.
Persona 5 Royal PC and Xbox Launch Surprise
After the big announcement of Atlus’ popular Persona series finally arriving on Xbox consoles and PC, everyone got very excited for its launch on other platforms for the very first time. One of those titles that will be coming over is Persona 5 Royal, the latest of the Persona series. Now, Atlus has revealed some good news for those planning to buy this on the new platforms.
Perks for Xbox and PC Buyers
According to Atlus in a new tweet, buyers of Persona 5 Royal on Xbox and PC will get to have over 40 DLCs already included in their purchase. This will include a lot of different Personas, costumes, items, and battle challenges that will include powerful enemies to fight. Players will be able to try out outfits from Catherine, Shin Megami Tensei, Persona Dancing series, Persona Q2, and more.
Overpowered at Start
The costumes will be available right away at the beginning of the player’s playthrough so depending on how much DLCs they are planning to redeem they will be able to become quite powerful at the very start.
Concerns with New Platforms
There are already complaints from fans that bought the game on PS4. Many of them have bought these DLCs from the start and it seemed unfair that Xbox and PC buyers will be able to get them for free. And it seems to be all of the DLCs too. No word yet on Atlus yet to comment on this issue, but they should be able to clear this up later on.
Persona 5 Royal is now available on PS4 and PS5. It will be available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S this coming October 21, 2022.
