Leaks are no stranger to loyal players of any game, be it from Genshin Impact or from other online games with roadmaps and sometimes unannounced gacha banners.
The following sets of information are a result of the Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis fanbase, those who data-mined the game to get an idea of what’s coming next in the future scratches, as to give those who hold out for them proper hope that items they loved in the original game would see a remake to the specifications of New Genesis, more commonly referred to as N-Spec Items.
Note: There is currently no time line for the release of these items, if they will be considered for release at all.
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis Leaks for December 2022
The first row is, personally, one of my favorite CAST Parts in the original Phantasy Star Online 2 The Luminous Princess set, and in the leaked sets, it has been remade to NGS specifications, giving it a wider range of movement for emotes and having a newer, more updated look. The same goes for the Howling Leo set, for those making much fiercer-looking Type 1 CASTs.
The next leaks are going to be quite familiar if you’ve played through the Stia Region’s storyline to its completion and watched all the cutscenes. The first one’s from Glen’s secretary which appears in a cutscene during Stia’s introduction while in Central City, and the next one’s from Kanui, Glen’s Adjutant and one of the NPCs you fight with while the third one kind of eludes me so far.
The lower row has the Chief of Stia Camp and head of the Advance Group in ARKS, Glen’s hairdo followed by some Type 1 CAST Head Parts and clothing that might make an appearance in a future AC or SG Scratch, which might take at least as far as January or February considering the Christmas AC Scratch is here and available to spend on if you wish, featuring even more clothing and gear for your characters.
Upper Row : Type2 Wear Lower Row : Accessory and Type 1 Wear
This last set features more incoming clothing that seems to be for a New Year AC Scratch, if not for a Spring AC Scratch save the upper middle. The upper row features an Outerwear on the left, a Basewear similar to those worn by Stia NPCs around Stia Camp, while the upper right seems to be another Setwear. The lower left shows an accessory that seems to be an Oni Mask if not a pretty elaborate Horn, then two new basewears or setwears.
Oh, and if you’re wondering where the Mischief Symbols are in-game, they are hidden in the places where Veteran/Dread Monsters spawn. It might take you a bit of time to hunt all of those places down, but I’m sure fellow players will help you out on that one.
Now, I’m gonna head back, grind for more points to finish off the Event Store once more, and save my SG for the inevitable Stia SG Scratch. Until next time, then!
