Xbox Head Phil Spencer recently shared his opinion about the competition, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and their flagship, the PlayStation 5.
In a recent interview with Gamespot, Spencer was asked of what he thought about the PS5. He actually praised SIE for doing a great job and specifies that they are doing something different than Microsoft, which is fine for him.
Spencer did say that he has not played a retail PS5 recently, but he did hint he has played the games. He has tried out the development kits, but did not specify which console. This is most likely the PS5 dev kit, he just did not want to say more.
The Xbox boss also said that he is looking forward to purchasing his own PS5 when it is out. Hopefully he does get one and make a review.
Xbox Series X/S is now available. PlayStation 5 is also out now in the US and select few countries. The rest of the world will get the next-gen PlayStation console on November 19.
