The newest Nintendo Direct stream has officially confirmed the Pikmin 4 release date with a new trailer.
The fourth entry to the Pikmin series will be launching on July 21, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch. The latest trailer features various gameplay mechanics like different abilities that the Pikmin can do during exploration and battle, and more. It also showed a new dog-like companion who can destroy stones (boulders) that block the way.
At the end of the trailer, a teaser was shown revealing that enemies might change during nighttime.
