It seems that Sony is doing well for themselves. Just on PlayStation Network alone, they’ve made about $12.48 billion in 2019. With their PlayStation Store earning about $9.28 billion for them the same year, including microtransactions, DLCs, and full games. It also seems that Sony is taking also earning quite a bit from their subscription services. With both PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now earning $3.20 billion.

At the beginning of 2020, PlayStation Plus is reported to have 38.8 million active subscribers. So it’s a safe bet to say that the year will be even more beneficial for Sony. Especially with the release of the PS5 late into the year.
